Any help is : appreciated.... O'Reilly and Associates puts out a series of books on 4.4BSD operating systems. The books are not targeted specifically towards PC-based BSDs and they're rather terse, not for beginners in my opinion. The best specific manual is the FreeBSD Hanbook, which can be found at http://www.freebsd.org. It details FreeBSD system administration. And naturally, generic Unix books are useful on FreeBSD. K.S.
