I was doing some SCSI driver development under BSD/OS 2.1 on a Tomcat with
a 166MHz CPU. When I upgraded the Tomcat from a rev 3 to a rev 4, none of the
ISA busmaster controllers (I tested with a 1542B, 1542C, 1542CF, and a BT-
524B) behaved properly. I concluded that something changed in the Tomcat. As
my development was mostly concerned with the latest BusLogic PCI cards (94x,
95x) I didn't worry about it that much.

You might want to try a PCI BusLogic card (the BT-946 should be recognized
in 1.1). It'd be lots faster, too...
