Sorry, i didn't intend to flame you, just to hint you that it's likely
that you articles ``fall through'' by posting to an unrelated thread.
It's quite possible that this is a problem with your news poster
(unless you did it intentionally).

I read the post: you didn't indicate that you've tried to swap the
controllers.

Disable the BIOS on the controller you are not booting from, and
arrange them in the way so BSD assigns ahc0 to the controller with the
BIOS enabled.

(My machine at work has got two AHA2940's, seems i've got a lucky hand
when i've mounted them in the box. ;)
