Or can anyone point me in the right direction? It's an S3 chip (86C968). I'm running AcceleratedX 1.2, so the 968 should be supported, but when I run xinit, I get a cursor with (usually) a black background and no colors whatsoever. I must be close because I can run xearth and see it flash in the background when I kill the Xserver. Also, running Xsetup after xinit with my xqa file causes a core dump. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
