Look in the packages distribution for apache. The current release is
version 1.1.1, and it runs fine on FreeBSD 2.1R. I expect no problems
with later editions of FBSD.

Make sure your firewall is set to pass packets for port 80 (the standard
http port). Also in /etc/sysconfig set the entry for apache_httpd to
YES.

After you install Apache, you'll have a new directory tree starting with
/usr/local/www -- data/ is the base directory for your pages.
