Why is /etc not in setc.?? only? Seems to me that's a good place for it if
it exists. Instead of using upgrade tool that come with sysinstall, which
claims to be not the most reliable of things, I unpacked bin and ssys by
hand. This worked just fine for 2.0.5 to 2.1.0. This time someone thought
it'd be a great idea to put /etc in one of those distributions. It was
quite the rude awakening to reboot and see "myname.my.domain". No warning,
no nothing.

I realize that some of the new utils might need more or different support
from stuff in etc, but how about a warning or something at least? I (quite
foolishly, apparently) expected all the /etc files to be in the distribution
set called etc.

Well, I have my day's activities clearly lined out, time to get to work.
Chad.
