Lines: 16 Message-ID: <Pine.BSF.3.91.961011214819.4158A-100000@darkstar> NNTP-Posting-Host: ras68.srv.net Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII X-Sender: cmott@darkstar I'm going to be getting a P133 that will run both NT 4.0 and FreeBSD. When I get the computer, it will have two hard drives attached to IDE controller 0, and the CDROM connected to IDE controller 1. Will this work out of the box for FreeBSD, or will I have to make changes? What is the simplest think I can do. Hypothetical situations: (1) cdrom changed to slave: will this work for NT as well as FreeBSD? (2) cdrom made slave on controller 0, and one hard drive moved to controller 1. If you post a response, please also send e-mail. Charles Mott
