/usr/sbin/xntpd

Existence of /etc/ntp.conf will start xntpd at boottime.

and a minimail /etc/ntp.conf looks like (your nodes will differ):

peer ntp1.volvo.se
peer gatekeeper.volvo.se
peer gate.volvo.se
driftfile /etc/ntp.drift
