Hmm, it seems I've found my knews bug !  If you set postingAgent to
use the inews program that comes with inn-1.4 (something that you
have to do in order to lose the "too much quoted text" errors that
the port of knews produces), inews (-h) fails to parse the passed
headers, as the blank line between the header and body contains
a "\r" !

How interresting !  Perhaps this is why knews postings screw up
their threading too !  Maybe the other header lines are getting
mangled because of this.

I've set up my external inews program with the following, we'll see
if it helps !

sed 's/^M$//' | /usr/local/news/bin/inews "$@"

(note, the ^M is a *real* ctrl-m, not the fake that I've written)
