I changed the port address to 0x340 using the kernel config, but it is still not being probed. Does anybody know if there is support for this drive? The Handbook said all Sonys with a proprietary interface were supported, but another FAQ said only CDU31 will work. Is it possible to download a driver for this, or to use a Linux driver? If so, how do I use a Linux driver with FreeBSD? Also, my ProAudio Spectrum 16 is probed (nca0) and there is a device file for this (/dev/nca0) but when I cat test.wav > /dev/nca0 I get "device not configured". Maybe a driver is needed? One last: is there a make config to recompile the kernel? Thanks for the help --Donn dmm125@psu.edu
