Is the project still }alive? I've not seen any activity lately from port-next, so I'm not sure about the present status of the port. At last word, several people had various pieces of test code for the NeXT-specific pieces, so the port wouldn't be all that hard. However, none of the code got collected together in one place, nor did any one person have (or at least admit to having) the time to be more active in doing so. I still haven't been able to get my hands on a NeXT machine or enough disk space for a serious port effort (yet), but if I can get the pieces collected that everyone else has already identified, I'll let people know where said bits might be found. Specifically, I've got a copy of der Mouse's code (got it today :) [Mouse, the permissions on /kern let me get kern.tar, but not ls or get anything within the directory. Email me if I shouldn't have pulled the dir.], as well as Rolf Grossmann's tarfile. If anyone else has any interesting bits for a digital archive, or a good place to put all this once I'm done collecting, let me know. Unfortunately, I'm still NeXT-less, and my home net is disk-poor and on a demand-dial setup, so I can't offer to do much of anything. :( Unless someone's willing to ship me a loaner or gift NeXT... (Yeah, right.) Thanks, David
