The first >one holds MSDOS (30Mb) and so does the third one (20Mb)) I have a problem similar to this in that I can't boot 386bsd from the harddisk with another partition installed. I tried it with a DOS partition first, and a DOS partition second...both several different sizes. I'm up and running now (with the full disk holding 386bsd). I tried all of the patched bootables, the original bootables, etc, with no luck, even with the clock set to a (slow, unacceptable) 8 MHz. The system is an ISA 386/40 (I forget the manufacturer), OPTI chipset, AMI BIOS, and nothing special in the system *at all*. This isn't a huge problem for me, but if a solution exists, I'd really like to know about it.... :-) (especially if the new mountable DOS fs that I just saw works...) >:: ((( (((( (( : Rogier Goossens : Perfection is achieved, :: >:: ( ( ( ( ( : goossens@cs.few.eur.nl : not when there's nothing :: >:: ((( ( ( : Erasmus University : left to add, but when :: >:: ( ( ( ( ( (( : Rotterdam : There's nothing left to :: >:: ( ( ( (( : The Netherlands : Remove. :: -- -- Cloyce D.
