It works quite well for me. If you interested in this : driver, get it from : ftp://jp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/incoming/vx.tar.gz. Patches for : 2.1.5-RELEASE and 2.2-961014-SNAP are available. What about the 3c595TX PCI card? The current driver seems to work well but keeps complaining about unknown media types and bad early revision boards.
