Message-ID: <By8FAD.KAo@ucunix.san.uc.edu> From: pmartin@eniac.san.uc.edu (Paul Martin) Date: Tue, 24 Nov 1992 17:59:01 GMT Sender: root@ucunix.san.uc.edu (System PRIVILEGED Account) Organization: University of Cincinnati Nntp-Posting-Host: eniac.san.uc.edu Lines: 14 I am using a 386BSD on a 486-50. I am having problems with my serial ports after shutting down under 386BSD and loading DOS. I appears that the 16550 uarts are left in some weird state, as my mouse which is connected to one of my serial ports stops functioning correctly. If I power cycle the computer, the ports start working properly again. Anyone had a similar experience? Is there a fix? --- Paul Martin -- +-----------------[Paul Martin @ Engineering College OCC, UC]-----------------+ | Internet: pmartin@uceng.uc.edu | "Yes I am serious, | | Dumb: ...uceng!pmartin | and don't call me Shirley" | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
