I just switched to IIJ-PPP because I would like to do some packet filtering. I have some configuration questions listed below. 1. What does the configuration parameter "lqr" do? I noticed it was denied in the sample ppp.conf file. I can't find any reference to "lqr" in the PPP RFC. 2. In the sample line: set ifilter 13 permit tcp src eq 110 estab What does the "estab" descriptor mean? What is it's purpose? 3. Let's say that in the future I may want to block ICMP coming from a given IP address (let's say 198.133.124.60 as an example). What would the filter rule look like to block ICMP coming in from that address? TIA -- John A.
