We've got lots of good stuff on adrian's 386bsd archive on rachel.ibmpcug.co.uk,
but it's galling to lose all the space from having an unpacked set of
directories (which I see as pretty useful for a *lot* of folks) and
a tarred and compressed set (which is a hellava lot more convenient
if you want the whole suite and not just some fixed file...)

Does anyone know where to get one of those clever ftpds that let
you get dirname.tar.Z and it does the tarring and compressing on
the fly as it sends the data?  It would be *really* useful here
and let us expand the archive even more...
