Date: 23 Oct 1996 20:42:40 -0400 Organization: Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Lines: 10 Message-ID: <54me20$bqm@csugrad.cs.vt.edu> Reply-To: nurban@vt.edu NNTP-Posting-Host: csugrad.cs.vt.edu I am thinking about throwing NetBSD on my Pmax and using it as an Internet firewall for a LAN. I'd like to use IP masquerading to make network access as transparent as possible. Is it supported under NetBSD? (I think "IP masquerading" is the right term. That's where the gateway repackages packets to make it seem as if the LAN computers are directly on the net, right?) -- Nathan Urban | nurban@vt.edu | Undergrad {CS,Physics,Math} | Virginia Tech
