As it were my SCSI adapter had the ISA compatibility DISABLED. I set it to Primary, wich gave it a port address starting at 330H. After this I was able to boot and set the freebsd slices. I tried to install from my dos partition. I had the files in the correct c:\freebsd directories. It started installing then told me it not find the root image on sd01, then it tried the flooppy. Where is the root image supposed to be? What is going on? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
