Date: 23 Oct 1996 05:45:42 -0400 Organization: Not very often Lines: 18 Message-ID: <54kpg6$4ra@wa4phy.async.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: wa4phy.async.com X-Newsreader: NN version 6.5.0 Not having gotten any responses to my previous 2 posts about silo overflow on one serial port, now I have another question. Why would I be getting overflows when the port doesn't get used at all. Yes, getty is running, but no nothing dials out nor in. Where would I start to or how to start to look for missed interrupt on that port? SIO card is AST-4Port, all with 550's in it. Is sitting on irq2 (9), and is configured as sio 2-5. I'd really like to be able to use it, but it's useless as it is. The telebit internal modem works flawlessly, sitting on irq3, as sio1. -sam- -- World Traveler | International Lover | Casual Hero Wars Fought | Opressor of Champions | Revolutions Started Aligators Castrated | Virgins Converted | Governments Run
