Unless you have a "real" requirement for dynamic routing updates AND have a router that is broadcasting the RIP update packets, DO NOT start routed on your machine. Simply use the 'defaultrouter' entry to point to a suitable router. If you have multiple and the chosen one is the wrong one to use, then it will issue a re-direct back to your machine. > It hurts me to say that my linux-machines work fine :\ > and FreeBSD works fine for me.
