I am trying to get my new FreeBSD machine connected to my local
IPS. I have gotten as far as being able to manually dial and get ppp started
(as evidenced by the PPP prompt). The provider usesdynamic IP assignmnet.
I can do a show log and get my IP address that has been assigned.

Now the problem. I can ping that address, but no others that I should
bea able to. For instance hsi nameserver. I believe that this is probably
an issue of how my rotuiing table are set up. The ISP thinks that I
should do a "ADD 0 0 HISADDR" at the PPP prompt. This os probably correct,
but there must be more to it than that.

What other things do I need to do to set up the correct routing ?
Yes I have read the PPP man page, and the section in the Handbook on this.

Als is there any way that I can watch the PPP chat script runing in
oreder to debug my login chat script ?

Thanks in advance.
