Your 3c509 card comes with a setup disk. The setup disk contains
a utility which will tell you what your card's current settings
are, and (of course) allow you to change them. You'll probably
find that your card is using another IRQ, like 5. Use the utility
to change it to 10, and bob's your uncle. ( While your at it, verify
the port number too, although this is more likely to be correct. )

IMHO you should try running the 2.1.5 release. The CD is available
in Ottawa at a reasonable price.
