Has anybody successfully used the bulletin system with a central database
in the FreeBSD 2.1.5 port of popper?

bull.db gets made when I log into port 110 and read a bulletin. However,
it doesn't get updated - the next time I telnet to port 110 I get "Unable
to open Bulletin database" and bull.db is still 0, as well as the .pag
and .dir files.

Any ideas? Is it permissions related or something to do with differing
versions of db/dbm?

Thanks,

Sean
