Now I know that it is possible, and the instructions would indicate that it's pretty straight forward. What I need to know, is just how fraught with danger is it really? Can I safely upgrade a running server and have it back on line in an hour? I presume password, and namedb and startup scripts are all that need to be preserved? in /etc. What about httpd and the like? Has anyone had any experiences with upgrading to the next releases? cheers, Bob -- The China House Sheng Huo Jiu Shi Dou Zheng robert@chalmers.com.au for Whirled Peas http://www.chalmers.com.au Location: Whitsunday Web Works. 21'7" S, 149'14" E.
