What does your routing table look like (netstat -rn) : I also have exactly the same problem as does several other users with : messages in the current .misc newsgroup. I suggest sending your message : to Jordan H directly as it doesn't seem that any FreeBSD network gurus : are answering questions here any more. You'd be better off asking hackers@freebsd.org. I don't think it's fair to send unsolicited mail to people. [.....] : I suspect that the automatic insertion of the gateway address is broken : in this version but no one wants to admit it. Works ok for me. The original poster was saying that he couldn't ping the other side of the ppp link. -- Brian <brian@awfulhak.demon.co.uk> <http://www.awfulhak.demon.co.uk/> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour.... .
