Date: Sun, 27 Oct 1996 22:11:49 GMT Lines: 18 Message-ID: <550mue$2j9o$2@news-s01.ny.us.ibm.net> Reply-To: pavlidis@ibm.net NNTP-Posting-Host: slip139-92-17-66.pt.uk.ibm.net X-Newsreader: Forte Free Agent 1.0.82 I would like to buy a tape backup system, but for the parallel port so it would be easily moved around and shared between systems with SCSI or not controller. Before I buy one I would like comments of users which one best fits my needs. I would like a cheap solution as my budget is not too high (400MB to 1GB travan tapes). Could freebsd be loaded by this type of media? Thank all in advance. Reply also be e-mail please as we have some difficulties in our news server at IBM. Regards Savas Pavlidis pavlidis@ibm.net
