Dave,

Here's the deal with finding the gateways...they are dependant on
which terminal server I hit when I dial.

Here's how far I have now come...

I went through another ftp install of fbsd, during that install I
changed the the vt with ppp running and looked at the routing table
(show route) it had an entry like:

	default   xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx  fffffff

I had no idea there was such thing as a "default" destination.  None
of the mail archives or man pages said anything about it.  So, I
edited my ppp.linkup file to include:
	
	add default 255.255.255.0 HISADDR

It works great now.  Now I have to work on the login and dial scripts
and dial-on-demand stuff.

Hope this helps some other lost soul...
