I have read the FAQ, and it said use ifconfig_<interface> "inet <ip> netmask 0xffffffff alias" This just killed my main IP...I have tried several of the other suggestions, and no luck. Is there a bug in the version I am using, or am I missing something. I am not an expert on FreeBSD (or ANY flavor of Unix), and am very confused. I saw a post that referenced changing the static routes definition. Is this the answer? Please be gentle with any responses, and tell me what I need to do to what file, if it is outside of the sysconfig file. Also, please post to my e-mail, and newsgroup, as I can rarely get the newsgroup. Thanks, Butch
