With 2.2 so far along : in development, it would be worth waiting a little while to go with that.. FreeBSD 2.2.0-RELEASE is now expected by spring,it's been pushed back. In the meantime there will apparently be a 2.1.6-RELEASE at yearend or so,which will be longer on fixes and shorter on niceties than 2.2. Certainly stabler than you should expect of a SNAP.
