[ patch to do "flags" for drivers omitted ]

I did this a long time ago, and tried to get Bill to include it with 0.1.
(yes, i *did* say a _long_ time ago...)

However, he turned it down, because apparently he has something
"different" planned for some aspects of the way drivers work...
I guess this difference would render "flags" irrelevant...


<sigh>

nothing like duplicated and re-duplicated work!
