The 3c900 and 3c590 are the same except > for the contents of the 'what am I?' PCI register. I just got a SC905-TX 10/100 PCI card yesterday and it doesn't work either. Does anybody known what it takes to make it work? Is it similar to the SC900/SC590? I got the 2.2 snapshot kernel and modififed the code to make the vx driver reconize the board, but that wasn't enough. I got errors about the eprom not responding (or something like that). I wouldn't mind writing the code if I could get some pointers about what it might take and where/how I can get the needed tech info on the card. Curt Welch curt@kcwc.com
