Example: root 29492 ?? (ftpd) zafiro 11383 p0 (bash) zafiro 11390 p0 (irc-2.8) pstark 9881 p1 (tcsh) pstark 10264 p1 (sz) pyro 12147 p3 (bash) jperont 9890 p5 (bash) Now, this machine has plenty of memory, and the /proc filesystem is mounted. These are the only two solutions I could find in the mailing list archive about this sort of problem. What else could be causing this, and how does one go about fixing it? Thanks! -S -- Steve Bernacki, Jr. | Administrator of networks and systems steve@zipnet.net | Ziplink, LLC
