We have several 4 & 4P HP Laser printers at work, and all they have is the standard Centronics parallel interface. Or, does that hub have a Centronics port and the ability to assign it an IP address? If you can't do that, hook the printer to one of your FreeBSD boxes. Then check the Handbook section on network printing, the /etc/printcap file, and such. -- Ken Are you interested in | byte-sized education | http://www.play-hookey.com over the Internet? |
