Well, 11.4 is merely for dialin-access.

For Taylor cu (now the default), the simplest way is

	cu -s 19200 -l /dev/cuaa1

(you must be a member of group `dialer' for this).  This will connect
you directly to your modem.

For a more advanced configuration, e.g. use this as /etc/uucp/port:

type modem

port cuaa1
device /dev/cuaa1
dialer hayes
speed 19200

install /etc/uucp/dial.sample as /etc/uucp/dial, and you should be
able to do

	cu -p cuaa1 <telno>

If you now start to setup an /etc/uucp/sys, you can refer to the
external systems by system name instead of typing phone numbers.

For more information, type `info uucp'.
