Keep a good backup of your /etc files around (e.g., in your home
directory).  The logic that helps you upgrading the /etc files might
experience unexpected behaviour.

Apart from this, i think it's straightforward.  Disclaimer: the last
time i've been using it myself was for a 2.0.5 -> 2.1 upgrade.
