Agreed which was why I was hoping for a PGP signed copy. :) > From the README in ytalk's distribution: > > If you do not have X11 installed on your system, or you do not > wish to support the X11 interface, then edit the configuration at > the top of the 'Makefile' file then run: > > make When I first started posting I was using the prepackaged ytalk from the CD Release. I later dnloaded the src from the maintainer's site. I tried the above some time ago but was unable to get things to compile. I am far from a programmer and was somewhat lost while mucking around trying to clear up the errors I was getting (I got a little further each time but...). Eventually I had to prioritize and move on (as I said, I got things working by symlinking a bogus file to the library it was looking for. Since it's never really used when not working under X (and I don't use X) it gets me by for now.) I'll worry about the consequences at a later date.... ;) Thanks for the reply!! -- ~|~|_ _ | _ _ _| _ |` /~`|_ _ _ _ | | |(/_ |_(_)| (_| (_)~|~ \_,| |(_((_)_\ Ever been to the Realm of Chaos?
