While this is perfectly reasonable, does anyone know if anyone is working on
any extensions to ccd that would allow you to add a physical partition to a 
pre-existing logical partition?  That would be way cool for news spool type 
applications, when you want more HD, you just add to the pool.  And given the 
nature of the beast (in this case) the drives would tend to "self balance" the 
load and usage after a time..

I suppose that if (when)  the Raid 5 version of ccd  becomes reality we'll be 
able to do the above...
