I am intending to travel to Spain and other EC countries and have
tried to find service providers offering an "email only" account that
I could access using Eudora.
My basic goal is to get access to my home email account using my
notebook's modem through an inexpensive service where I could connect
for a few minutes a day and receive & send my letters.
I have been advised that it is not technically possible to allow way
to Eudora while closing access to the Web and therefore there are not
inexpensive options. I have been offered instead an email-only
through "Unix Shell using Pine" but I am not familiar with it and have
been told that you have to read and write your letters while being
connected.
I have seen a US provider offering the type of account I require but
could not get a response from him.
I would appreciate any instructions that I could pass as a "recipe"
for creating this type of accounts.
