I have installed it, but I did it in a roundabout way. I installed it first on my IDE drive. I then downloaded a number of files from the STABLE branch, and recompiled the kernel. I then moved the installation to the SCSI drive. In a few days, I may have a unsanctioned, unguaranteed solution. I am in the process of creating a 2.1.5 boot disk. If you have access to a DOS machine, you should be able to install like this: 1. Rawrite a GENERIC kernel with AU support to a floppy in DOS. 2. Boot with AU boot disk. 3. Install. 4. Mount fixit floppy. 5. Use dd to copy the new kernel off the floppy. E-mail me if you are interested. If there is sufficient interest, I'll try to set it up.
