It's a 10/100BASE-TX : PCI card. I've been running this card very hard on a 2.1.5 system. Ignoring the "bad early revision adaptor" errors, "strange connector in eeprom" messages.. it seems to work quite well. I couldn't get the thing to come online for a while though. When I first played with this thing, the Link connection light was not on so I figured the card wasn't responding. I had to boot up windows 95 and re-initialize the card. It then quit on me again on a reboot. ( at that point I no longer had W95..thank god! ) I used the 3com config disk that came with the card to force it to Twisted pair, 100BaseT etc..etc.. its worked ever since. I also added the new patches to the driver and it still works ( a good sign!). I do believe that this driver needs some more work... although it does tend to keep up with an Ultra Sparc with a 100Mb card. =) Karl
