Greetings,

I have been playing around with compiling kernels, especially with
different booting environments. The FreeBSD Handbook describes
different options available, but I have been unable to find details
for some of them. So I have two questions:

* How do you create a compressed kernel? The source code points to
a kzip script, but I can find no sign of it.

* I discovered how to create a MFS root partition, but, how can I
initialize it to hold a given filesystem?

Thanks for any information or pointers to same!

Hoping I haven't overlooked something blatantly obvious, I remain ...
