Hi,

I just switched from an IDE CD-ROM to a SCSI CD-ROM. [SONY CDU on an ADAPTEC
2920 SCSI Host Adpator]. I want to reload FreeBSD on the same IDE drive but
this time with the SCSI CD-ROM drive, instead.
[I will be installing 2.1 (Jan 96) replacing my current 2.0]

1) Has anyone used the ADAPTEC AHA 2920 host adpator, and if so, which driver
did you use ? [I checked the current docs but there is no direct mention of
the 2920 as a supported h/w. ]

2) If this is unsupported, could you reccommend another PCI. non PnP, PCI, host
adaptor [BusLogic or Adaptec] which also has an external SCSI port
[like the 2920] ?

Thanks

Juzer
