Hey, this is serious. I have the same board on a second computer
which I use through a network card. I checked floppy access this
morning and am having trouble. Never noticed it before. My modem is
an old 14.4 ISA card which works OK, and I have never tested the
serial ports! other than in using a mouse (which works OK).

Does ASUS acknowledge this problem on one of their web sites? I missed
it if they do.

I'm not a newbie, but I'm not familiar with a kernel patch either. I
know a lot of us would appreciate some help in installing it.

Thanks for any further assistance you can give.
