Do we have to go back into the ages-old lesson about the differences between BAUD and BPS and CPS? The simple fact of the matter is that modem manufacturers advertise the BPS rate of the modem, and people mistakenly use BAUD and BPS interchangeably. If we could get a 28.8k BAUD modem, we wouldn't need ISDN or X2 technology.
