WRONG! They USUALLY call the VX the triton III! The HX is >> sometimes called triton III! >> > >Sorry to be rude, but get a life dude! Your crusade to stamp out "Triton >III" is worthless. Almost everyone calls the VX a III. While you may not ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ >know what anyone is talking about, everyone else does. I could care less >on II vs III. ANd as Mr Lambert said, Intel >may not make the distinction, but it seems almost everyone else does. > Intel doesn't call them triton whatever. To listen to you, NOBODY should post, as not everyone calls the VX triton III. Hence, suggesting a purchase on that basis won't change things reliably. Like those 9600bps(or whatever) modems I spoke about. Heck, I once saw two disk drives, and two tape drives, that were ABOUT the same price, but one was twice as large. How was I to know that: 1. compression just came out, and... 2. BOTH were EXACTLY the same but one showed the MAXIMUM size AFTER compression. This whole thing is getting crazy. It USED to be that 1GB was 1GB(maybe real or digital, but still 1GB). NOW, you have to read the fine print lest you get only 500MB. Steve
