I loaded 2.1.5 on these PC's and could not get them to insert onto our network. I downgraded one to 2.1.0, and still no luck. We have a dozen machines here with the identical config all running 2.1.0 or 2.1.5 without a hitch. So I looked at the SMC cards and they are smaller than the SMC cards I received in the past, with a reduced number of chips. I put an older SMC card in one of the new PC's and it started right up. So, does anyone know what has changed and why the if_de driver does not like the new cards? Any hope for a quick fix? - rick warner
