I have "-clocal" both on /dev/cuala1 and /dev/cuaia1 Probably this is wrong, i.e. to lock a mode on cuaa1 you have to use following sequence: stty -f /dev/cuaia1 -clocal stty -f /dev/cuala1 clocal i.e. first set the mode you want, then lock it by ASSERTING it on the lock device ?
