  You should install XFree86 3.2 and try the new Mach64 Xserver.  As to the 
inability of the Mach64 Xserver to run on a computer with more than 16MB of 
RAM, this is only true for ISA version of the graphics card.  For the PCI and 
VLB version of the video cards, you shouldn't have any problem.
