I've been trying for a week now to get the X-Windows package that came
as part of the BSDI 2.1 package to work with my monitor and video card.

The video card is an ATI Graphics Ultra Pro - 2MB VESA Local Bus.
The monitor is a Mag DX17F.

Both of these pieces of hardware are listed in the Xsetup configuration
program - however when trying to use Xstart, I get a black screen and
the whole system locks up.

Can anyone tell me if there is a required patch, or if I need to adjust
something else before things will work with my card/monitor.

Any help or comments appreciated.
Robert.
