Date: 9 Nov 1996 17:02:00 GMT Organization: Epita Lines: 21 Distribution: world Message-ID: <562de8$5b3@boson.epita.fr> Reply-To: dixsau_d@epita.fr NNTP-Posting-Host: pluton.epita.fr Hello All, I recently installed FreeBSD 2.1.5 (great OS !) and downloaded Netscape3 from netscape.com ("Unknown BSD" version). It all works well, excepted that it won't display or run JAVA applets. The applets don't get loaded and a white square is displayed instead. No error messages are displayed. The file java_301 is installed in /usr/local/lib/netscape/ (and anyway Netscape complains if it's not here) and java is enabled in the Options menu. Also, it's not possible to display the JAVA console. Does anyone has an idea how to solve this problem ? --- Damien DIXSAUT | yet another French computer science student dixsau_d@epita.fr | Damien.Dixsaut@epita.fr | F1LQJ@F6RAC.FRPA.FRA.EU finger for PGP key | UNIX enthusiast | F1LQJ Ham radio operator
